Colossians 1:15-23 - What's Holding You Together?

What is your favorite tool/item that you use to fix something that’s broken?

Have you ever tried to fix something broken with glue or tape only to have it fall apart again?

When is the last time that you haven’t been able to “hold it together?”

A misquoted Bible verse about money is from 1 Timothy 6:10. People think it says “Money is the root of all evil”, but that’s wrong. The correct verse is “The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” Why do we need to be careful about “loving money”?

What does it mean that through Jesus all things were created and in Jesus all things are held together? Does this give you any hope?

What does it mean to be alienated from someone? What does it mean for us to be alienated from God?

What are some ways that humans try to fix our relationship with God?

How has Christ reconciled us to God?

What is the result of reconciliation with God?
