Colossians 3:12-17 - Clothe Yourself With Christ

What is one of your favorite articles of clothing? Why do you like to wear it?

Have you ever been chosen last in a group setting where people had to choose their team or partner for a project? How did that feel? How does it make you feel to know that God has chosen you? Not as a last choice, but as a first choice – holy and dearly loved.

How is Colossians 3:1-2 (seek/set your mind on things above) related to Colossians 3:12-17 (clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility,…)?

It can be very difficult to forgive. How does this passage help us to forgive those who have sinned against us?

What is the peace of Christ?

What are some ways that you can let the “word of Christ dwell in you”?

It’s not easy to take correction (admonishment) from someone, but the Bible is clear that correcting/admonishment is part of the Christian walk. We are supposed to admonish and be admonished by other Christians. How does this help us in our relationship with God?

How does our attitude toward doing work that we don’t like change when we “do it in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Colossians 3:17)?
